In September of 2005 I began searching for a
new Independent Broker Dealer. My search narrowed down to three finalists. After
meeting with Aaron Wilbanks I was convinced Wilbanks Securities, Inc. was the
best choice for our firm and our Clients by providing excellent products,
reports, and cutting edge technology.
I started moving my clients over to Wilbanks Securities and RBC
Dain Rauscher on January 2, 2006 and we completed the transition by March 31st
2006. This was the 3rd time I had changed Broker Dealers and I must admit I was
pleasantly surprised by the tremendous support I received from the Wilbanks back
office.

Since coming on board
with Wilbanks almost two years ago, the positive changes
in my practice are almost too many to number. Wilbanks
Securities has allowed me the opportunity to take my
financial planning firm to the next level. Their
flexible fee-based platform allows me to make the best
decisions for my practice. I now have the option to
charge a commission or a fee; my choice! I now can
implement an AUM fee for clients who need ongoing
service for their portfolios. In time, this AUM fee
platform will allow me to support my family on a
sustainable basis, and give me free time to actually
live instead of constantly chasing the next big case.
More importantly, Aaron Wilbanks has steered me to organizations
like the FPA. He has also trained and provided me with
what I feel is the best asset allocation software on the
market, and it alone has made me elevate my practice
from broker to educator. Using Modern Portfolio Theory,
as well as this professional allocation software, we
have been able to increase our average case size
dramatically. We were doing the right things before
Wilbanks, but now we’re doing the right things better,
and easier.
On the marketing front their website hosting and full color
newsletters are state-of-the-art. I’ve seen none better,
or cheaper. In conjunction with our client appreciation
events and seminars, they now give us a well
orchestrated marketing plan---year round! They have made
marketing their new mantra at Wilbanks.
I demand a lot from a broker dealer, and I am by no means easy to
please. But in every category of expectations I had two
years ago, Wilbanks Securities has either matched, or
surpassed all of them.
